I am thrilled and honored to be joining the ranks at , a resource group for parents who want to balance their work/home lives, within my amazing brokerage š
If you know me, you know that family and real estate have gone hand in hand my entire life. I grew up with a dad as a contractor and builder. My husband and I bought our first house at 22 so our dog would have a yard. We teamed up with my BIL to start investing in real estate in 2018. And then in August of 2021, our first son was born.
Staring at his tiny face, I knew there was no way I could go back to my 9 to 5 and be the kind of mom that he needed. So at 10 weeks postpartum, I started my classes, and I was licensed by the new year.
The 4.5 years since then have had so many ups and downs for my family. But the reality of it is that I have been able to be there for my kids anytime they have needed me, to watch them grow up, and still do a job that both fulfills me AND allows me to contribute financially to my household.
NEST exists to give a community to everyone like me who wants the best of both worlds and Iām so thankful to be a part of it. I get to help other parents strive for that balance, all the while working towards it myself. Support for parents just doesnāt exist in most industries. I am beyond thankful that my brokerage and the founders of our group believe in providing it wherever we can. ā¤ļø
