Friends... I need your help.

Can we talk about how hard it is for first time buyers right now? Seriously, how are these kids supposed to get their start when homes are selling for prices that require a retirement account, a second mortgage, and possibly a kidney donation? 😅

I'm working with an amazing 21 year old buyer who is doing everything right. He's pre-approved, motivated, responsible, and ready to stop dreaming about homeownership and actually make it happen. The problem? Finding a house he can afford that doesn't need to be completely rebuilt from the studs.

He's approved up to $120,000. We've been focusing around the $100,000 price point so we have room to compete when the inevitable bidding war starts. We recently found one in Grandview that seemed promising, but it sold for well over asking (which, unfortunately, wasn't exactly shocking).

At this point, we're either finding total gut jobs or homes so tiny he'd have to choose between having a couch or a dining table.

So I'm calling on my favorite army of friends, homeowners, neighbors, investors, and fellow Realtors. Do you know of anything coming soon? Thinking about selling? Have a relative who's been talking about listing?

Let's help this young man trade Grandma's spare bedroom for a place to call his own. 🏡❤️

A lot of people think buyers are struggling right now because of affordability…

3 YEARS. 🇺🇸🏡

This closing at 1819 E Watch Ave was one for the books! What started as a conversation about homeownership turned into a THREE year journey helping these amazing veterans get to the closing table.

There were highs, lows, stressful moments, delays, and a lot of patience along the way … but yesterday we officially made it to the finish line. 🙌. It took a very patient seller who also put her trust in me to get to this place sold. It is so rare to see 2 parties put so much trust into not only me, but each other, and genuinely wanted the best outcome possible! No selling out from under someone or any of the wild things you see happen!!

One of the best parts of this job is being able to walk alongside my clients through every season...even when the process isn’t quick or easy. Seeing them get the keys after all this time made every hurdle worth it.
