Tuesday's hailstorm is the worst in modern records for both Springfield, MO and Greene County, MO. It had the largest measured hail stone (up to 5 inches) and will easily be the costliest.

Mortgage rates briefly dipping below 6% earlier this month wasn't enough to meaningfully move the market, a new Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices report suggests. Rates likely need to fall below 5.5% to significantly energize buyer demand. "Folks tend to lean into 5.5% or less," said Justin Messer, CEO of Prosperity Home Mortgage. "What that does is limit the payment shock."

Who doesn’t love a great Christmas light display? Now through December 25th, take a drive through Finley River Park and enjoy glowing scenes filled with lights and holiday charm. Festival of Lights is open nightly from 5:30 to 10 p.m., making it easy to fit into any evening plans. Admission is free for all, but donations are accepted at the exit to help keep the tradition shining bright.
