If you’re from Springfield, you know all about the French Fry Monument.

Turns out its real name is Sun Target II, and it has a much cooler story.

Created by internationally known sculptor John Henry, the piece came to Springfield in 1980 after stops in Chicago, Atlanta, and New York. It was restored in 2019, and once the Art Museum renovation is complete, it’ll return to its original spot in front of the museum.

One of Springfield’s most recognizable landmarks, with a history most people don’t know.

You guys loved the kitchen and upper level from this home but the outside of this property is just as wild as the inside.

The house is incredible, but the 56 acres surrounding it might be just as impressive.

A deep concrete pool, multiple outbuildings, and plenty of room to explore make this property feel like its own private retreat.

The best part? You’re only minutes from the middle of Republic, but once you’re here, it feels like you’re a world away.

This is one of those properties that’s hard to describe until you see it in person.

This might be the most unapologetically ‘80s kitchen I’ve ever toured.

The kitchen is easily my favorite room in this house.
Everything feels custom, from the curved cabinetry and matching blue accents to the mirrored skylights and lighting. It’s bold, it’s fun, and it’s been incredibly well preserved.

And then there’s the storage…I lost count after eight pantry spaces.

We’re back at the Mid-Century Modern home that popped up in Branson. This bathroom alone was worth the trip and was basically untouched. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this color combination before.

Lavender and blue fixtures, an incredible patterned floor, original windows and hardware, and a shower that’s still in amazing shape.

Every detail in this house was good, but this bathroom was easily one of my favorites. They just don’t make stuff like this anymore.

If you’ve ever wanted your own private piece of the Ozarks, this is it.

Tucked away on 56 acres just minutes from Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield, this property feels like a world of its own.

The house is full of surprises. Massive exposed beams, mirrored skylights, hidden lighting built into the handrails, an incredible entertaining space, and some of the most unique finishes I’ve seen in a long time.

If you’re looking for privacy, character, and a home that’s anything but ordinary, this one deserves a look.

You guys love a pink bathroom, so obviously I had to show you this one.

Another untouched bathroom from the Mid-Century Modern house we toured in Branson, and this one is GOOD.

Pink tile, incredible original hardware, angled cabinetry, vintage sconces, a shower with a built-in bench, pocket door, and even the light fixtures are cool.

Everywhere you look, there’s another little detail worth stopping for. This house seriously did not miss.

This might be one of the most untouched Mid-Century homes I’ve ever toured.

We’re at 520 Parnell Drive in Branson, designed by Richard Stahl for the Parnell family, and this place is absolutely wild.
Original metal kitchen cabinets, incredible stone patios, one of the coolest front doors I’ve seen, and vintage details everywhere you look.

And then there’s the setting: about 1.5 acres, water access, a private dock with two slips, and the Landing basically right across the water.

Those incredible bathrooms were just one piece of the puzzle. The entire house is dope, and I’m so glad I got the chance to see it in person.

Huge shoutout to Lexus Keeslar with Murney for letting us come nerd out over this place.

Closing day for Jon and Vicky!!We met completely by chance, and I was able to help them close on their first home today....

Closing day for Jon and Vicky!!

We met completely by chance, and I was able to help them close on their first home today. They bought a cute mid-century ranch in the beautiful Woodland Heights neighborhood that they plan to fix up and restore!

They were my second clients this year to utilize the wonderful Restore SGF down payment assistance grant, and also happened to be the SECOND TO LAST grant issued for the year!

I'm so glad we met and thankful that they trusted me to help.

Two words: European streetscape.
I genuinely don’t know if I’ve ever toured a house this specific.

All of the bedrooms open onto an indoor “streetscape,” complete with windows looking into the common space. Every room has a completely different design, there’s a soaking tub, and basically nothing about the layout is what you’d expect. Bold doesn’t even begin to cover it!

I would’ve loved to see this place fully furnished in its prime, because whoever designed it had a VERY specific vision.

If you love original Mid-Century Modern details, our newest listing is full of them.

This is one of those homes where the original details are the main attraction.

From the floor-to-ceiling aluminum windows and sandstone fireplace to the original kitchen, built-ins, and beautifully preserved woodwork, nearly every room has something that catches your eye.
It’s clear this home has been thoughtfully cared for over the last 70 years, and that’s what makes it so special.

If you’re looking for an authentic Mid-Century Modern home in Springfield, this is one you won’t want to miss.
