In Memory of Patricia Rue

It is with deep sadness that we share that Patricia Rue passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Patricia served as our Administrative Assistant for the Robertson County Association of REALTORS® for five years, and her impact on our members, leadership, and community cannot be measured. If you knew Patricia, you knew you would be greeted with a smile. She had a rare gift for making everyone feel comfortable, welcomed, and valued. Whether you stopped by the office, attended an event, or called with a question, Patricia was often the first person you encountered, a friendly voice always willing to help, listen, and offer encouragement.

Patricia was much more than a colleague. She was a cherished member of our REALTOR® family. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She had a way of brightening even the busiest days and reminding us of the importance of compassion and connection.

Over the past several years, Patricia fought an incredible battle with cancer. Through every challenge, she demonstrated remarkable strength, courage, and determination. She faced her journey with grace and resilience, inspiring those around her with her unwavering spirit and positive attitude.

While we mourn the loss of Patricia, we also celebrate the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. We will remember her smile, her laughter, her humor, and the countless ways she touched our lives. The Robertson County Association of REALTORS® is better because of Patricia, and her memory will remain in our hearts.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Patricia's family, friends, and all who loved her during this difficult time.

Patricia will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

On this Flag Day, we extend our gratitude to the men and women of our armed forces, veterans, law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and all who serve their communities and our nation.

We have been asked several times when Pat passed away. She has not passed yet. Unfortunately incorrect information was shared and it grew into many posts and people thinking that she has passed away. Here is a post that was made 3 hours ago by her family:

"Our family wanted to take a moment to notify everyone that, at this time, Pat is still with us. Though her time on this earth is coming to a close, she is sticking true to her stubborn, committed, and fiercely loving self and hanging on a little while longer. She has fought cancer hard and loved her people even harder, and we are all ready for her to rest and rejoice in Heaven with a healed body. I know my Aunt Pam is reading her all your comments and posts of love, so keep them coming, if you wish. We will update as needed."
