Update Foster Found 🎉🎉🎉😊

Can some please foster this girl. Her owner passed away and the family member that she is staying with can not keep her. She is 2-3 years old and weighs about 65 lbs. great with kids and other male dogs. Please help her out she is so sad about her owner and just needs a place to be happy again. 310 lonely days and nights…

Tonight we want to tell you about our dear friend Rocky. Rocky was adopted from us as a puppy and was returned in March of last year. Rocky was basically thrown outside and grew up alone and missed out on the socialization needed by all pups. It was clear we were going to have our work cut out for us. Rocky barks at people in his kennel and does take some time to warm up so this has landed him zero foster offers in 310 days.

Rocky has come A LONG way in the last couple of months and even attended a meeting the other day with several strangers. He has his own team called “Rocky’s Rock Stars” who are dedicated to walking him and coming up to play with him. It started out as a small group but it is growing as he is making so many new friends! What used to take many occasions of meeting people, now takes 5 minutes to make friends. He is muzzle trained (just to be extra cautious) and we do use it to meet new people but he doesn’t have to wear it long. He really needs socialization with men as he is still fearful of them. Rocky goes to training classes and daycare and is good with other dogs. He is 2 year old now and is 63lbs. Once he is your friend, you better be ready for lots of kisses!

We are making a plea for Rocky, if anyone out there is looking to continue his training and socialization in a home setting as a foster or adopter to please let us know! He will need a no cat or kid home (no kids due to him being fearful). He needs a place where he can safely meet new people and learn that the world is not so scary. He deserves a chance at a life outside of a kennel.
