I earned a degree in Advertising & Marketing from Southern Illinois University and proceeded to work as a Display Advertising Representative for The State Journal Register. d I had lived and breathed Real Estate my whole life growing up with my parents always discussing deals and talking real estate. I obtained my real estate license and proudly worked alongside my father, mother, brother & sister for 26 years at Grady Realtors, Inc. In June 2016, we made a family decision to grow our business and join forces by merging with the top Springfield firm The Real Estate Group where I am currently a Partner and serving as the President of the Board of Directors. I am a life long Springfield resident serving on many Board of Directors including The Parent Place, Heartland Credit Union, Christ the King Booster Club & The Junior League of Springfield. I have helped raise thousands of dollars that have been put back in the community by chairing several committees and am honored to have been named the "ABCD" (Above & Beyond the Call of Duty) recipient & The "Making a Difference" by The Junior League of Springfield. I have also received the Community Service Award from the Capitol Area Association of Realtors & The 2nd Place Winner of "Best Realtor" by The Readers of The State Journal Register. I am the proud mom of two amazing grown sons that make me laugh harder than anyone in the world. One of the most beautiful closings I’ve had in a long time.
The seller represented by my friend and Partner Jami Wi******er was a Marine Veteran and 90 years young! My buyers are the kids of my friend since kindergarten and they just got married. We looked at 26 homes and made 5 offers before the house that was meant to be found them!! The seller saw the buyer was in the National Guard 🇺🇸and knew these were the kids that would carry on the beautiful memories he built in the house for the last 34 years! Thank you to both our seller and buyers for a memorable closing!! Welcome Home Mark & Emily!! Not many people can say real estate is literally in their DNA but today was a reminder that it’s in mine. ☘️❤️

I was doing a final walkthrough for a client’s home this week, I looked over in the garage at a hook on the wall, and spotted this old Shamrock keychain.

Before I even turned it over, I had chills. I knew what was on the back: my dad's name, Patrick V. Grady.

I come from a true lineage of real estate agents. My dad spent 50 years serving families in our community, building a legacy of trust, hard work, and deep local roots. Growing up in this industry, real estate was never just a job I chose, it’s who I am. It’s in my blood, my upbringing, and the way I care for my clients every single day.

Finding a piece of his work hanging there half a century later was a full-circle moment and the sweetest reminder of where I come from. I couldn't be prouder to carry our family's torch forward. 🔑☘️
