The Springfield-area market continues to show steady growth in 2026. Compared to the same period last year, home sales are up 5.8%, new listings have increased 5.0%, and pending sales are up 8.7%, indicating strong buyer activity. While inventory has grown 8.0%, median home prices have also increased to $274,900. Homes are taking slightly longer to sell, averaging 48 days on market compared to 45 days last year, creating more opportunities for buyers while sellers continue to benefit from appreciating home values.

🔥 inventory is up significantly, but home prices are still rising. A strong indicator that demand remains healthy despite buyers having more choices!
