Giving back to our community is also very important part of her business. Sandra was elected to the Springfield School Board. She currently is on the Springfield Education Foundation, Hamlin Middle School design team, facilities advisory board for the Springfield public schools, budget committee for the Springfield School District, along with many other school related volunteer positions. She was PTA President at Centennial Elementary, Co-Chaired the bond measure in 2013 for the district, along with Chairing “The Night of 11,000 Stars” for the Springfield Education Foundation in 2013 which raised over $100,000 for grants for the Springfield Public Schools. In 2014 she was honored with an ACE (A Champion in Education) award for all of her achievements for the district and was also featured in the Volunteer Spotlight as a nominee for Volunteer of the Year for Lane County. She has helped raise and donated tens and thousands of dollars of cash and in-kind gifts to our district as well 100’s of hours of community service each year.
