Remember all the price hikes in rentals? This makes so much sense... the rental market became cooperative instead of competitive. jerks .........

'Greystar — one of the biggest landlords in the U.S. — just settled a major lawsuit over using rent-setting algorithms that allegedly pushed prices up across entire cities. Regulators say the software relied on private landlord data to coordinate rents, creating artificial price hikes.

As part of the settlement, Greystar must stop using the algorithm and pay millions.
