As a Home Inspector at Home Inspection Professionals, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our clients' properties. Your expertise will help homeowners and investors make informed decisions about their real estate investments.
Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to assess their condition.
• Identify potential issues and safety hazards during inspections.
Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain inspection results and answer questions.
• Coordinate with other professionals such as realtors and contractors as needed.
Requirements
• Proven experience in construction inspection or related field is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for identifying issues.
• Excellent communication skills to convey findings clearly to clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Current valid and unrestricted driver's license.
• Excellent work ethic with a strong sense of urgency.
• Professional speech and a high level of customer service is a MUST!
• Strong communication, computer and organizational skills with a professional demeanor.
• Candidates must be physically capable of reviewing small spaces typically involved in inspections including attic and crawlspace, and physically capable of scaling a ladder.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations is a plus.
Interested candidates must have reliable transportation and GPS and familiarity with the Metro Detroit area. The area we serve is expansive including Macomb, Oakland, Wayne, St. Clair and Washtenaw Counties and beyond. Assignment locations and total hours may vary each day. Salary is commensurate with experience.
