We frequently find cheap, flexible drain hoses used as quick DIY fixes under homes. These temporary accordion style pipes easily trap debris, clog, and crack under pressure. The result is a slow, hidden leak that can rot out the structural wooden floor joists right beneath your feet. Proper wastewater drainage requires smooth, rigid PVC lines to keep your property safe.

Even new construction homes need a thorough check! During this inspection, we looked at the exterior AC unit and found a missing hurricane bolt on the tie-down bracket.

We also checked the concrete pad to ensure the unit was perfectly level. This is critical because if the unit is leaning, the oil and coolant inside lose stability, forcing the compressor to overwork. Always verify your new build is truly move-in ready.

Modern households run multiple heavy appliances simultaneously, placing a massive load on your electrical panel. Older panels manufactured by companies like Federal Pacific or Zinsco were common decades ago but are now major fire hazards.

These outdated boxes contain serious design flaws where breakers jam instead of shutting off during an electrical surge. Because the electricity keeps flowing, wires overheat inside your walls without warning.

Local insurance companies monitor these specific brands closely and might deny coverage until the panel is fully upgraded by a licensed electrician.

Unsure what brand of electrical breaker panel is installed inside your garage? Send us a DM with a quick photo and we will check it for you.

Did the builder actually fix it? Let's find out. Our first inspection caught low attic insulation. Today we climbed back up to verify the repairs. Good news! The builder added the missing insulation to reach a solid 12 inches.

Never just assume a fix is done. Always get a re-inspection to verify the work and protect your investment.

You might think a brand new house is flawless. It rarely is. During a new construction re-inspection today, I found low insulation levels hiding up in the attic. This common builder mistake will spike your monthly power bill and make it hard to cool your home in the Florida summer heat.

Most buyers are not going to climb a ladder into a dark attic during their final walkthrough to check the insulation depth. That is exactly why I go up there for you. Always get an independent check before you close on a new build.

We found this open junction box with live, exposed wires during a recent attic crawl. Missing a simple cover plate leaves high-voltage splices completely exposed to dry dust and insulation. One tiny spark here could easily ignite the roof. We always check these hidden spaces to catch invisible fire hazards before they threaten your family.
