The Golden Anchor Team is a husband and wife Real Estate Team serving all of Northeast Florida; Rich and Kristy Possert. A Jacksonville, Florida resident since 2008, Rich came to Northeast Florida by way of Japan, Virginia, California, and Illinois though serving in the U.S. Born and raised in the Northeast Ohio rust belt, he joined the Navy after graduating high school in 1994, and after 23 years
of serving on multiple ships and training commands, he retired as a Chief Petty Officer here in Jacksonville, FL. He was awarded Brokerage and Regional Rookie of the Year Awards with ERA Davis & Linn Realty in 2018, and Agent of the Year by Keller Williams Jacksonville Realty in 2022. A Jacksonville, Florida resident since 2009, Kristy, a Perry, FL native, fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a Realtor after working over 20 years in sales, marketing, and office management in the HVAC field. She brings a tenacious work ethic and a wealth of knowledge of the construction and HVAC industries, and like Rich, she has a family tradition of service in the Real Estate industry. The Golden Anchor Team was named to signify specific things to our customers. An anchor keeps a ship safely in Harbor in rough seas. A ship is kept in place in that harbor not by the weight of the anchor, but the weight of the chain that connects it to its ship. We will be there for our customers through those potentially heavy seas, and we will work with our chain of support to ensure that we see your transaction through closing and beyond. Rich is the Chairman of the Veterans Council of Duval County and is in leadership positions in the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Kristy is in leadership with the VFW Auxiliary to Post 3270. We love to attend games and root for our local sports teams here in Jacksonville and have sponsored multiple military and veteran appreciation events for our Active Duty Servicemembers and Veterans.
