One of the most meaningful parts of serving my community has been supporting the work of Habitat for Humanity.

Safe, stable housing changes everything for a family.
It creates security.
Opportunity.
A foundation for new beginnings.

And what I love most about Habitat’s mission is that it’s about so much more than building houses.

It’s about building hope.
Building stability.
Building a future that families can truly grow into.

Watching people come together to serve their community in such a tangible way is incredibly inspiring.
Volunteers, donors, future homeowners — everyone plays a part in creating something bigger than themselves.

In real estate, I see every day how deeply “home” impacts every area of life.

What moving taught me…

Starting over is both beautiful and uncomfortable.

You leave behind the familiar —
the routines, the places, the people, the version of yourself that felt safe.

And for a while, everything feels unfamiliar.

When we moved to Florida, I thought the hardest part would be learning a new area.

But honestly?
The hardest part was learning how to rebuild a sense of home while everything still felt new.

What I’ve learned is this:

Home is created slowly.

It’s built in the small things —
the coffee shop you start visiting regularly,
the neighbors who become friends,
the routines you create,
the moments where a place finally starts feeling like yours.

Moving stretched me in ways I didn’t expect.
It taught me resilience.
It taught me how to start again.
And it reminded me that growth often comes packaged as change.
