Important Update for St. Louis Homeowners

Following the devastating EF3 tornado on May 16, 2025, the City of St. Louis has postponed all remaining 2025 real estate tax sales to October 14, 2025 to give affected homeowners time to recover.

This affects over 1,200 properties and includes:
• Consolidation of tax sales 232–235 into one sale on October 14, 2025
• Personal property tax suits postponed to August 2025
• Real estate tax suits rescheduled for August and September

If you’re facing tax foreclosure, you may be eligible for support through the Real Estate Tax Assistance Fund (RETAF).

RETAF provides:
• Financial assistance for qualified owner-occupant homeowners
• Wraparound services like credit coaching and help accessing home repair funds
