Before you fall in love with a house, know these 3 things first!

1️⃣ Compare the expensive stuff.
Look beyond finishes and focus on the roof, HVAC, windows, foundation, plumbing, electrical and other big-ticket items.

2️⃣ Know why it hasn’t sold.
Is it the price? Location? Condition? Floor plan? Sometimes there’s an opportunity, and sometimes there’s a reason buyers keep passing.

3️⃣ Ask your agent how they plan to win.
If you end up in a multiple-offer situation, you want a strategy before the pressure is on.

Buying a home is emotional, but the best decisions are made with the full picture.

The house can make you fall in love, your strategy should make sure it’s worth it! 👏

Her stepdad, Bill Vassar, turns 80 this October, and at 79 years old, after years of writing, rewriting, rejection, and refusing to give up, he is officially a published novelist.
