So this morning I was walking my son, Lil Baby, to the bus stop when another parent approached me.

She asked, How much did you pay for your house? I’m still fairly new to the subdivision, so I told her, Well, I’m actually a Realtor.”

She explained that she’s been renting her home for 10 years and now they’re getting ready to BUY it. 🏡👏🏾 She wanted to compare what they’re paying to what I paid for mine.

Then she asked me, Do you think this price is too much?

So of course I asked, Are you working with a Realtor?”

She said YES.

Then she asked if I could run comps AND look over her paperwork.

Ma’am… 😭😂 NOW WHERE THEY DO THAT AT?!

I politely told her, I think you need to have a conversation with YOUR Realtor. The questions and concerns you have for me are the same questions you should feel comfortable asking the Realtor representing you.”

And that brings me to today’s message:

💜 FIND YOUR REALTOR FRIDAY! 💜

Find a Realtor you’re comfortable asking questions.
Find a Realtor you trust.
Find a Realtor who is knowledgeable AND available.
Find a Realtor who listens and understands YOUR needs.

And pleaseeee… don’t go behind your Realtor’s back asking another Realtor to check their work. 😂 Talk to the person representing you first!

It’s always easy for someone on the outside to say, Well, I would’ve done this…or “They should’ve done that… But I’m not here to make another Realtor look bad. We’re human, we all do business differently, and yes, we can all make mistakes.

The important part is that YOU feel informed, comfortable and confident with the Realtor YOU chose to represent you.

Don't get me wrong—I do okay. But I know I was made for more than just "okay." I know my worth, and it's time I move like it.

If you know me, you know I'm super friendly, easy to talk to, and I genuinely love people—my family, my friends, my community, and my city. Helping people isn't just my job... it's my passion.

My goal is to see every member of my family experience the feeling of becoming a homeowner. ❤️🏡
