It's time to share our Pet of the Month for September: Norbert!
"Norbert is a 6 1/2 year old German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix. He is playful boy that is equal parts lovable and stubborn, with a side of
German Shepherd ears that pick and choose when they want to stand all the way up. He loves his food and treats, which is reflected by his motivation to do ANYTHING for food (including occasionally waking dad up at 4AM for breakfast)! He will often check the dog park for friends at least once each time he goes outside, hoping he might get to play. He was once in training to be a service dog through 4 Paws for Ability, but he ultimately became the most fabulous flunky and has been loving pet life since I officially adopted him in Summer 2021. He “graduated” college and physical therapy school with me, so he is one smart boy! Despite his bark and size, he is 108 pounds of love that never misses a cuddle session with mom and dad (or his favorite toy). His favorite summer activities are smelling EVERYTHING outside, pup cups, car rides with the windows down, and playing in a garden hose!"
