Be advised that Spire is adding Mercaptan to the gas lines near the intersection of Tenbrook and Arnold Tenbrook today. Mercaptan is an odorant that is added to natural gas and is neither explosive nor harmful. It is not unusual to smell Mercaptan throughout the area as it is being added.

However, if you do have an odor of gas in your home, call 911 for assistance. We are here to help.

Dena McCaffrey, Jefferson College president, and Justin Price, who owns the Wesley Rogers Steak and Buffet restaurant in Arnold, on Aug. 25 were elected to the board of directors for the Triangle Transportation Development District and the Arnold Retail Corridor Transportation District.
