In search of a hard-working, permanent team player to join our Grounds team. This job entails maintaining the grounds of NRE's apartment portfolio in St. Louis, MO. Job seekers should take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy working with others.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planting flowers and removal and reporting of dead shrubs.
- Perform regular checks of irrigation throughout grounds to shrubs, flowers and landscaping.
- Keep properties looking clean and sustain curb appeal.
- Assist Maintenance in proper snow and ice removal on sidewalk and driveways in inclement weather, salting of sidewalks and specific areas of campus.
- Assist in replacement of light bulbs around the grounds, including sidewalks, entrances, canopies and all other outside lighting.
- Keep sidewalks and parking areas neat and clean.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook, and Maintenance Employee Handbook.
- Follow the direction/requests of On-Site Manager.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with hand tools and maintenance equipment including blowers, chain, rakes, clippers, and hedge trimmers.
Must be a hard-worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic.
Great physical health and stamina.
Good attitude and hardworking.
Ability to work with a team of people.
Good attendance and reliable.
Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, and in adverse weather.
Must lift and carry up to 50 lbs - Requires physical stamina.
