The sold sign is the shortest part of the story.
It’s easy to look at seven closings and see seven transactions.
I see something completely different.
I see a family saying goodbye to a beachfront home that had been loved for more than 60 years.
I see siblings working together to prepare their mother’s home for its next chapter.
I see a family chasing a new career opportunity and trusting a strategy we built together to get them there on time.
I see a couple finally retiring to the island they’d dreamed about for years.
I see another couple who intentionally built a life that lets them wake up in the mountains one month and walk to the beach with coffee in hand the next.
I see a family unpacking boxes in a place they never expected to call home.
Those are the moments I remember.
The negotiations fade.
The paperwork gets filed away.
The stories stay with you.
One of the biggest misconceptions about real estate is that it’s about houses.
It’s not.
It’s about people.
It’s about helping someone close one chapter with confidence so they can begin the next one with excitement.
It’s about understanding what someone is really trying to accomplish, not simply helping them buy or sell a property.
That’s why I ask so many questions.
