Two trips to Richmond in one month! 🏛️

On January 29th, I joined my fellow Realtors for the NVAR Advocacy Day. While I was there on the 15th with the MOVE Chamber, this second trip was all about the 2026 Realtor Legislative Agenda.

We went to advocate for:

Increasing Housing Supply: Fighting to reduce the ‘red tape’ that makes building homes so expensive.

Homebuyer Support: Supporting new tax credits to help first-time buyers finally get their keys. 🔑

Protecting Property Rights: Ensuring fair standards for both homeowners and renters across Northern Virginia.

‘Real Estate, Real Care’ means showing up where the decisions are made.

Advocacy is a cornerstone of the real estate profession. Last month, I stood alongside the MOVE Business Chamber to meet with legislators regarding the critical need for affordable housing across the Commonwealth.

The housing crisis affects us all—our workforce, our seniors, and our future. I am incredibly grateful to the MOVE Business Chamber for organizing such a powerful day and for their constant dedication to removing barriers for Virginia businesses and families.
