Yesterday I came across something on LinkedIn regarding Sickle Cell. I posted about it and thought nothing more of it. Now, I am a firm believer that people do not pay attention ! 🤣😭 So when I received a small amount of calls and text regarding the treatment there was only one call that did not surprise me. 🤷🏽‍♀️

THEN !

I got two dms and realized ……. Y’all saw this because theshaderoom posted it ? 🤣😭 I don’t even follow the page but it’s truly the least they could do with the platform.

Thank you to all that reached out. My circle truly does consist of my Mother, Brother & Children but it’s nice to feel seen. Living with Sickle Cell is a second by second experience and while Quenleigh may not be considered the worst case she is by FAR the best but God is faithful. Her strength is admirable as she learns to navigate through developing as a child and enduring through excruciating pain, hospital stays, blood transfusions and multiple doctors visits.

I thank God for keeping her and as always I encourage you to be kind to people. The world is suffering, social media isn’t real life, be gentle with yourself and consider others. ❤️
