A look behind the scenes at one of our Greenwich projects.

Before the architecture begins to take shape above ground, an extraordinary amount of work, engineering, and precision happens below it.

This foundation began with a mat slab requiring more than 1,000 cubic yards of concrete and nearly 3 tons of reinforcing steel — a glimpse into the scale and complexity behind this highly detailed home.

As construction progresses, wood-form concrete will become an important architectural element throughout the residence. Designed to retain the natural texture and grain of the timber formwork, the exposed concrete will appear across chimneys, hallways, interior and exterior walls, and other architectural features — bringing warmth and character to an otherwise modern material.

An incredible foundation for what will become a truly unique modern home.

Proud to be bringing this project to life alongside our exceptional team, including New England Concrete Work

This pool cabana reinterpret Morrocan influences through an American lens. Walls clad in handcrafted Morrocan tile set the tone, while French, mid-century Scandinavian, and contemporary furnishings come together in a layered composition that feels sophisticated, relaxed, and effortlessly livable.

New renderings released for 54 Brookwood Lane. ✨

Part of the Brookwood Lane collection, 54 Brookwood Lane is envisioned as a refined New England shingle-style estate where timeless architecture meets modern living.

Clad in weathered cedar shingles and defined by a disciplined gabled roofline, the residence draws inspiration from the enduring coastal homes of Nantucket and the Hamptons. Elegant proportions, understated detailing, and a thoughtfully integrated carriage-house wing create a composition that feels both established and enduring.

54 Brookwood Lane is one of the first proposed residences within Brookwood Lane, a collection of nine thoughtfully planned homesites in the heart of New Canaan.

Once home to notable musicians, actors, and industrialists, Brookwood Lane is a rare landscape of rolling meadows, mature woodlands, and winding streams set across one of New Canaan’s most desirable locations, directly across from the Country Club of New Canaan.

For generations, this remarkable property remained privately held and largely undiscovered.

Now, SBP Homes is introducing a new chapter for the estate.

Brookwood Lane is a collection of nine thoughtfully planned homesites designed to honor the property’s natural beauty while embracing a refined vision for modern New Canaan living. With generous lot sizes and a carefully considered site plan, the community offers a rare sense of openness, privacy, and connection to the surrounding landscape.

New renderings released for 190 Brookwood Lane.✨

Part of the larger Brookwood Lane development — a 32-acre private enclave in the heart of New Canaan — the residence is set within a landscape of rolling meadows, mature woodlands, and oversized homesites envisioned around a timeless New England architectural language.

Located at the end of Brookwood Lane, 190 Brookwood opens onto a pastoral cul-de-sac where the home blends seamlessly into the landscape, as if it has been there for a hundred years.

190 Brookwood Lane and 54 Brookwood Lane are the first proposed residences introduced within the property, which will also offer future custom design-build opportunities, turnkey homes, and land purchases for independent development.

Set along Connecticut’s Gold Coast in Westport, this waterfront residence was envisioned as a true forever home for a couple entering a new chapter centered around family, friends, grandchildren, and their dogs.

Rather than downsizing, the homeowners chose to create a home on the water that would feel elegant yet deeply livable. Wind-tolerant evergreens, salt-resistant grasses, white roses, and low hedges were carefully selected to preserve open water views and connect the property naturally to its coastal surroundings.

Rainy Memorial Day Weekends call for spaces like this.
From our coastal Connecticut project, as seen in - an indoor retreat designed for slower mornings, long afternoons, and year-round comfort. Honed porcelain pavers surround the indoor lap pool, while custom lanterns and bronzed brass sconces bring warmth and atmosphere to the space on even the greyest days.

Take a look at our coastal Connecticut project, featured on the cover of

Set along the Connecticut coastline in Westport, this waterfront residence was conceived as a true forever home — not simply a retreat, but a place where everyday life could unfold alongside family, longtime friends, grandchildren, and the rhythm of the water.

Designed to feel both timeless and deeply livable, the home opens seamlessly toward Long Island Sound through expansive windows, terraces, and light-filled interiors connected to the surrounding landscape. Classical architectural forms and carefully crafted details are balanced with warmth, comfort, and an understated sense of ease.
Thank you
