The harbor at Village Creek was recently dredged to accommodate large power and sail boats. Boat slips are guaranteed to all residents. After you leave the boat show come and see me.

Today officials of National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) announced the names of approximately 16,000 Semifinalists in the 62nd annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

Locally, Derek H. Lue from Brien McMahon High School was named a semifinalist, as was Norwalk High School's Timon A. Dauser.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR LOCAL SEMIFINALIST!!

The nationwide pool of Semifinalists represents less than 1 percent of all U.S. high school seniors.
