Join us on Monday July 20th for a fun, hands-on reptile experience with Hewitt Reptile Emporium, a local reptile shop based in Everett!

Meet friendly snakes, lizards, tortoises, and more while learning about these amazing animals.

🕒 Time: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Highlights:
• Meet and pet live reptiles
• Learn fun reptile facts
• Take photos with the animals
• Family-friendly fun for all ages

Children must be accompanied by an adult. All animal interactions will be supervised by experienced handlers from Hewitt Reptile Emporium.

Stanwood is giving us one of those classic PNW days today — a little gloomy, a little damp, but not too bad overall. ☁️🌧️

🚂 Fun Stanwood History Fact:
Did you know Stanwood was once home to what was considered the shortest railroad in the world? In the early 1900s, the H & H Railroad (nicknamed the “Dinky”) ran less than a mile between Stanwood and East Stanwood!

🌿🧹 FREE Community Clean-Up – Stanwood Residents! 🧹🌿

Ready to clear out the clutter? This is the perfect chance to tackle that spring cleaning and yard clean-up!

📍 Where: Stanwood Camano Fairgrounds
📅 When: Saturday, May 16
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (or until dumpsters are full)
💲 Cost: FREE!

✅ Accepted Items (1 load each):
• Bagged garbage
• Recycling (aluminum cans, cardboard, glass, mixed paper, tin)
• Scrap metal (must be drained of gas/oil and free of plastic/wood)
• Yard waste / clean wood (lumber must be free of nails/screws)

🚫 Not Accepted:
• Construction material
• Household hazardous waste
• Large appliances
• Medical waste
• Tires
• TVs & other electronics

This is a great opportunity to freshen up your space and help keep Stanwood looking beautiful! 🌸🏡
