Kelli took the time to explain the public transportation routes and show our residents how they can use Mountain Line to get around the community more independently. Learning how to navigate public transportation is a great step toward independence!

Here are the pictures from our latest Christy Friday! 🥰 Christy spent the day hanging out with our residents, coloring, and helping them prepare taco meat for nachos and tacos! 🌮🧀 They also enjoyed fall-themed treats and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. 🍪🍁

We missed Gabe, Rickey, and Felicity and hope to see them next time!

🌮 Cooking with Residents Night featured the ultimate Taco Tuesday! 🎉

Our residents helped prepare build-your-own tacos, a queso fountain, and delicious non-alcoholic margaritas. 🧀🌮🍹

Cooking with our residents is about more than just making a meal, it’s a great opportunity to teach and practice everyday independent living skills while having fun along the way!

A BIG thank you to Bill and Trella Greaser with Greaser’s Property Management for sponsoring this fun-filled evening and helping make it possible! We appreciate your support of our residents and PACE Place!

Our favorite day of the week… Christy Day! 💕 I mean, Friday! 🤭

We count down the days every time Christy leaves because we just love having her here with us!

Today, our residents helped Christy make some delicious pasta, followed by pumpkin cheesecake bites for dessert! 🎃🍝🍰

From cooking to crafts, karaoke, and everything in between, Christy always brings so much fun, laughter, and love to PACE Place. We are so grateful for the time she spends with our residents and the memories she helps create. ❤️

As you can see, we sure do love our Fridays with Christy! 🥰
