A Mississippi native, Keith grew up in Calhoun county. He is married to Lauren Stegall and has two children, Coley & Georgia. After graduating from MSU, he began working as an engineer and his passion for residential construction grew. Keith built several personal houses for his family and eventually that evolved into Legacy Builders, LLC. For many years, Keith has built quality, custo
m homes in the Starkville, MS area and is known for his integrity, professionalism, and straight forward communication. His ability to work close with clients to ensure that they are a part of the entire building process is something that he takes pride in. I am from Jackson, MS and graduated from Mississippi State University with my degree in elementary education. I received my master’s degree from The University of Southern Mississippi in Educational Administration. I am a wife and mother to two beautiful children. I have always had an interest in construction and a large majority of my family are affiliated with either commercial or residential construction. My father has been a licensed residential builder in Madison, Mississippi for years; my brother operates a commercial construction company in Mississippi, and several of my aunts & uncles are licensed home builders and developers also. You could say that I have been around construction my entire life. When Keith & I married, we built our first home together with my father’s guidance. It was a fun process and it ignited a new interest for Keith & I – home building. We have built several personal houses and also many houses for specs and customs. By far, my favorite part of building a house is getting to explore my creative decorating side. I enjoy choosing the finishing elements for homes – whether it be paint colors, lighting & plumbing fixtures, flooring, tile, granite, etc. – that will turn the house into a home for the family that moves in. It is the hope of Keith & I that one day our children will take an interest in construction and we can pass Legacy Builders on to them to operate. That is actually where the name “Legacy Builders” came from – our hope that this company would be something to pass to our children. We love what we do and we hope that we can help turn your housing ideas into the reality of a beautiful home!!
