🏡 Staten Island Market Update: March vs. April!

Ever wonder what’s actually happening with home prices and sales in our neighborhood?

Here is a quick look at how the market shifted from March to April:

💰 The Price: The average sale price dropped by $40,890 (going from $736,542 down to $695,652).
⏳ The Time: Houses took a little longer to sell, increasing by 10 days (from 73 days on the market up to 83 days).
🏡 The Options: The supply of homes increased slightly from a 3 month supply to a 3.5 month supply, meaning buyers have a few more choices on the shelves.
🤝 The Final Number: The percentage of the asking price that sellers actually walked away with stayed nearly identical, only dipping a tiny bit from 98.4% to 98.3%.

The market cooled down just a bit, giving buyers a little more time and a few more choices, while sellers are still getting very close to their asking prices! 🥳
