University Pointe is looking for a technician to join our maintenance team! We are looking for a hard working individual with previous maintenance background preferred.

~Primary Role: *Painter*~
-Sheet Rock Repair
-Cleaning/Prepping Walls for Paint (removing nails, tacks, and other inconsistencies)
-Painting flat, semigloss, and ceilings
-Caulking
-General Repair
~Secondary Role: *Maintenance Technician*~
-Completing tenant work orders by investigating issues in an efficient way and carrying out repair in a timely manner.
-Routine Pest Control
-Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors
-Identify any issues regarding safety, hazardous conditions or maintenance needs in the community and correct them or report them to the maintenance supervisor/management
-Perform preventative maintenance on equipment within the community
-Prepare vacant apartments for move-in, including completing any necessary repairs or replacements
-Ensure upkeep of community appearance by replacing light bulbs, removing trash and litter, painting and performing repairs
-Accurately complete records in system regarding service requests, preventative maintenance, and make-ready of vacant apartments
-Perform electrical and plumbing work as required
-Assist with grounds-keeping,, housekeeping, distribution of notices, apartment inspections, and other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
*Must be 18 years of age or older*
*Must have reliable transportation and mobile device with service*
*Must be available on call, weekends, and occasionally holidays for emergency maintenance*
*Must be available to work Monday-Friday 11pm-5pm*
*Maintenance experience 1 year + (preferred)*
*Experience with flipping houses/apartments (preferred)*
