Land Surveying Field Crew Position:

Description & Details

Immediate position available for field crew personnel. Successful candidate will need good communication skills and enjoy being part of a team in a fast paced, challenging environment. Important notes pertaining to this position:

• Field work to be outside on various Property Boundaries
• Be familiar with GPS instruments
• Ability to work outdoors
• Work out of Statesboro, GA home office.
• Precise field note keeping and documentation skills
• Must be physically able to work in the field in various work environments.
• Must have good handwriting skills.
• Must pass drug test.
• Pay Rate depending on experience.

New hire will work on a two-man and or three-man survey crew for mapping and construction projects. Engages in various types of surveys including performing boundary traverses, location surveys, level runs, retracement surveys, staking subdivisions, buildings, highways and commercial Developments.

Professional Land Surveyor Position

This position will be considered a Project Surveyor position. The intent for hire would be to place the new hire in responsible charge of managing projects from start to finish, including certifying the work. This position will primarily be in the office, but occasional fieldwork may occur.

**Requirements (not all mandatory but preferred):
Project experience with Boundary, ALTAs, Easement/Right of Way Surveys, Land Development(Subdivisions), Topographic Surveys; GPS Control Surveys, As built Surveys and Construction Layout.

Candidates should have:
● 2-5 years as a Licensed Surveyor
● PLS Active License in Georgia (LSIT would be considered)
● Experience with various types of equipment. Total Station, Robotic Total Station, Base + Rover GPS, Drone UAS and Auto Levels.
● Candidates are preferred to have experience in Retracement/Boundary Surveys, Topographic and Utility Surveys, Construction Layout, and ALTA Surveys. Some may have more experience in Boundary Surveys than they do in Construction.
● Out of state candidates can apply but those individuals will need to relocate.

We are searching for a CAD drafter to perform basic drafting for land surveys performed at this firm.
We have an immediate need for a CAD drafter to continue their career by working alongside our registered surveyors to produce daily surveying projects including, but not limited to residential lot surveys, elevation certifications, boundary, topographic and ALTA surveys.

Skills/Qualifications
• HS diploma required
• Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D or AutoCAD related programs
• Knowledge of engineering plans as related to the basic elements of surveying

Requirements/Key Responsibilities for this position but not limited to:
• The drafter shall help with the preparation of boundary, topographic, ALTA, record of surveys, legal descriptions and plats
• Organize and maintain project files and associated drawing and documentation related to ongoing and future projects
