Running an Airbnb has taught us something… it’s often the little things that guests remember most. 💛

Of course we provide the basics, but we are always paying attention to the “extras” that make a stay feel more comfortable, thoughtful and stress-free. Recently we realized there were a few items we had overlooked that many guests may expect or appreciate — especially during travel surprises or power outages.

So we’ve added:
🔦A battery-operated flashlight
🪭 A portable fan
Iron & ironing board
🫖 Tea kettle for cozy mornings or evenings

Sometimes it’s not about luxury… it’s about feeling taken care of. We truly want our guests at our 70’s-themed getaway to feel comfortable, relaxed and at home from the moment they walk in the door. ✌️🎶

One thing that matters to us at The 70’s House is how a home FEELS…not just how it looks.

From the air you breathe to the sheets you sleep on, we try to make thoughtful choices for our guests. That means using cleaner products throughout the home and laundering linens with enzyme-based detergents instead of harsh chemicals and overpowering fragrances.

We love creating a space that feels fresh, cozy, nostalgic and comfortable the minute you walk through the door. 🎶☮️

I’m heading to convention to learn even more about wellness-focused products and some exciting new releases that may be a great fit for our groovy getaway. I’m always looking for ways to make The 70’s House experience even better for our guests.

Because a fun stay should also feel like a healthy, welcoming one.

One of the things we’ve been really intentional about in our 70’s house… is what you don’t see.

Every surface, sheet, towel and shower product is cleaned with plant-based products from a wellness company we trust! Never using ingredients like formaldehyde, triclosan, bleach, ammonia, parabens or phthalates.

Why? Because your getaway should feel good in every way, especially for those who are sensitive to harsh chemicals.

It’s just one more way we try to make your stay feel fresh, clean and comfortable… with a groovy twist. ✌️
