📣Across Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta County, buyers have more homes to choose from than they did a year ago. In Staunton alone, active inventory is up 35.8% year over year, while the median sold price is down 8.6%.

That doesn’t mean the market is “bad.” It means strategy matters more.

Before White Oak was a brand(many brands over the years), it was just our family building things. 🤍🌳

This picture popped up in my phone today and stopped me in my tracks.

Two little kids, a pile of lumber, some tools they probably had no business holding 😂, and another project underway.

They’re 21 and 16 now, but looking at this picture reminds me that “family business” started long before we ever called it that.

They grew up around renovations, job sites, sawdust, tools, problem solving, long days, and the idea that when something needs to be built—you figure out how to build it.

Years later, we’re still doing it. The projects are just bigger, the tools are more expensive, and thankfully they’re a little more qualified to use them. 😂

White Oak Built really was built by a family. And these two have been part of the story from the beginning.
