Although I have lived in Virginia all my life, I quickly came to the realization that I had finally found a home both literally and figuratively. The worst real estate advice in Waynesboro, Staunton, and Augusta County sounds right until it costs you money.

I hear the same myths every week. From clients, from DMs, from people repeating something they read online without checking if it actually held up.

Some of these are harmless. Others have cost people tens of thousands or set their plans back by months.

I'd rather be the agent who gives you the honest answer now than the one who stays quiet and lets you learn it the hard way.
