I almost didn’t share this.

They’re just pencil marks on a wall.

But to me, they’re a little piece of time I wish I could bottle up and keep forever.

Because motherhood is such a strange, beautiful ache. You spend your days wanting them to grow, while secretly wishing you could slow it all down.

I want my kids to grow up. I want them to become who they’re meant to be. I want them to leave the nest and build beautiful lives of their own.

But I hope they never outgrow home.

I hope this is always their safe place.
The place they come back to.
The place where they bring their own babies someday and say, “Look—this is how tall I was.”

And I think that’s why finding the right home feels like so much more than finding the right house.

It’s finding the place where your family gets to grow, put down roots, make a lifetime of memories—and maybe, one day, come back home.

It’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are. 🤍

Today was about so much more than a baby shower.

It was about a community coming together to remind moms and families that they are seen, supported, and not alone.

To every mama who donated clothing, books, toys, baby gear, and so many other incredible items—THANK YOU. Because of your generosity, families in our community were able to leave feeling loved and supported. Every single donation represented someone choosing to help another family, and that is something truly special. 🫶

A huge thank you to Wood Ridge Farm Brewery for allowing The Mama Brigade to set up camp at your absolutely beautiful place and welcome families into such a wonderful space. We are so grateful for your generosity and hospitality! 🌿

A special thank you to Jessi with Inflate Up Events for creating an absolutely beautiful balloon display that made the event feel even more special and gave us the perfect backdrop for the day! 🎈🤍

And to our amazing photographer, Cheryl Moore—thank you for being right there with us, sweating it out in the heat and capturing the moments that made this day so special. 📸❤️

🚨💕 TOMORROW IS THE DAY, MAMAS! 💕🚨

The Mama Brigade Community Baby Shower is happening TOMORROW from 1:00–4:00 PM at Wood Ridge Farm Brewery, and we cannot WAIT to welcome you! 🥹🩷

Because of the incredible generosity of our community, we have received SO many amazing donations for local moms and babies! From baby clothes, books, toys, diapers, and wipes to larger items like Pack ’n Plays, high chairs, bouncers, car seats, and MORE…there is truly something special waiting. 🍼👶💕

We want tomorrow to be fun, exciting, and—most importantly—fair for everyone, so here’s what you need to know before you arrive! 👇

✨ HOW IT WORKS:

🛍️ Every mama will receive a Mama Brigade bag when she arrives! You can fill your bag with whatever items you would like from the available donations.

🎟️ Big-ticket items will be raffled off to keep things fair! Items like high chairs, car seats, and other larger/more valuable baby items will have a designated spot for raffle tickets.

🎫 Each mama will receive 5 raffle tickets to use however she chooses! Want to put all 5 tickets toward one item? Go for it! Want to spread them out between several items? You can do that too!

📸 PLUS…one lucky mama will win a FREE professional maternity OR newborn photography session! 😍 This raffle is completely separate from your 5 big-ticket raffle tickets, so everyone will have the opportunity to enter!

🧷 Each mama may receive one small box or sleeve of diapers and one package of wipes so we can make sure as many families as possible are able to benefit from these essentials. 💕

⏰ Raffle winners will be drawn at 3:15 PM!

And here’s the exciting part… 👀👇

If we get into that final hour and there are still LOTS of donations remaining, we’re lifting the restrictions! 🙌 That means mamas can come back through and grab whatever they need and want until it’s gone!

I highly recommend having your grandma interview you. 😂❤️

Especially if she absolutely refuses to be on camera herself. 😂

I wanted to do something a little different and let you guys get to know the person behind the Realtor — so I asked ChatGPT to come up with some questions for my grandma to ask me.

She agreed to be the interviewer… as long as she didn’t have to be on camera. 😂

What followed was a whole lot of laughing, a few bloopers, some stories I haven’t thought about in years, and probably way more of me than I usually put on social media.

And honestly? I loved it.

Because I don’t want you to just know me as the Realtor who helps you buy or sell a house.

I want you to know me.

The mom. The granddaughter. The sister. The slightly awkward person who doesn’t always know what to do with her hands when there’s a camera pointed at her. 😂

Because real connection doesn’t come from having everything perfectly polished.

It comes from being willing to show up as yourself.

And Nanny… thank you for being my very professional, completely off-camera interviewer. 😂
