Join us in welcoming Rafael to The Group family!

Having called Steamboat Springs home since 2022, Rafael brings his perspective as an economist to real estate, helping clients make informed decisions in the Yampa Valley. Originally from the Texas-Mexico border region, he lived across the U.S., Mexico, and France before settling in Colorado with his wife, Brenda, and their daughter, Agnes, a Steamboat native. Becoming a first-time homeowner in 2026 deepened his commitment to guiding clients with clear information and support.

Rafael is also an Associate Professor of Business at Colorado Mountain College, where he teaches economics and data science, shaping his analytical approach. He speaks English, Spanish, and French and enjoys helping Steamboat's community navigate real estate, whether buying a first home, relocating, purchasing a second home, or investing. He serves on the board of Seminars at Steamboat and was named to the Steamboat Pilot & Today's 20 Under 40 in 2024. Outside of work, he loves traveling and time with Brenda and Agnes.
