Most people don't know that the oldest Dr Pepper bottling plant in the world wasn't in a big city. It was in Dublin, Texas. Population: not many. 🤠
In 1891, a man named Sam Houston Prim started bottling Dr Pepper in this small Erath County town, and for over a century, Dublin did something no one else on earth was doing: they kept using the original Imperial Pure Cane Sugar formula. While every other bottler switched to high-fructose corn syrup, Dublin never changed. Not once. Texans drove hours out of their way just to get a case of the real thing, and "Dublin Dr Pepper" became one of the most beloved regional food legends in the entire Lone Star State.
For 120 years, that little bottling plant on Main Street was more than a business. It was a point of pride, a piece of living history, and proof that some things are worth protecting.
