Before you list your manufactured home… there’s one little detail you’ll want to track down. 👀🏠
That sticker may not look important, but the serial number and other information on it definitely is.
When a buyer is using traditional financing, the lender will typically need identifying information for the manufactured home—including the serial number—to verify the home and complete the lending process.
And trust me… it’s MUCH easier to figure this out before you’re under contract than when everyone is trying to get to closing. 😅
So if you own a manufactured home and are thinking about selling, add this to your pre-listing checklist:
✅ Find the data/identification information
✅ Make sure the serial number is readable
✅ Keep a picture of it somewhere safe
