Fantastic news for those of you who have not yet taken advantage of the incredibly low mortgage rates to refinance (or who did early on & are looking for an even lower rate!). The adverse market fee of .50 basis points is going away in August! What does this mean to you? It means you should reach out to your trusted mortgage lender (or reach out to me for a recommendation for one) to see what makes sense for you! If rates remain in the upper 2's for a 30 yr and lower 2's for 10 and 15 yr, you might be in the position to shave YEARS off your current mortgage while keeping payments about the same (or even less).
