Actors wanted!

The Poteau Valley Genealogical Society will be hosting a “Living History” cemetery tour on Saturday, September 26. They are looking for locals to portray notable LeFlore Countians such as soldiers, teachers, businessmen, pioneers, etc. We are honored they reached out to GTCT to recruit talent for this event, and are happy to help them spread the word to fill these roles!

According to the Society’s President Joe Anderson, the reenactors will have a short narrative/bio of the "spirit" being portrayed and will be dressed in period clothing.

The event will be held September 26 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, near Carl Albert State College.
