As a licensed realtor, if I could give just one piece of advise to anyone in the market or thinking about jumping into the market…

Regardless if you’re a realtor, contractor, lender…I have seen several transactions fall apart because a ball was dropped somewhere or just lack of communication and/or educating clients properly. 🛑 ✋🏼
First and foremost, it’s important you select a realtor you absolutely trust with one of the biggest transactions you will make in your life. 💰
Second, your realtor will most likely have trusted lenders they have experience working with and ones that specialize in what you’re looking to purchase (I.e land, home, new construction, modular ect.)
Third, if you requested a home inspection and you are in need of repairs…your realtor will most likely know trusted, local contractors.
And finally, the media has a tendency to paint an image of the market that simply is not true. Especially following the pandemic, I can’t tell you how many overstated myths were flying around social media. Talk to your lender, talk to your agent. It is a part of our job to understand the market….and what may or may not work for our clients.
This applies to both buyers and sellers.
