contractor for the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC), and managed several properties that had gone into receivership, as the Court Appointed Receiver. Kingwood Management presently manages or provides marketing and/or maintenance services for over thirty (30) individual owners of a wide variety of investment properties. Managed properties have included an assortment of commercial properties and approximately 1800 residential units. Over the past fourteen years Kingwood has also managed a variety of townhome associations. Seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, full-time maintenance technician with our property management firm. Areas of responsibility include, but not limited to, basic structural, mechanical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and electrical systems, carpentry, and lock repair.

Applicants must have previous maintenance experience/knowledge, ability to apply said experience and knowledge, be reliable, able to work independently, have a professional attitude, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and own tools.

Hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and on-call rotation for evenings and weekends.

Description: Seeking an experienced property manager for our Association portfolio, consisting of 22 HOA’s totaling 1,045 units. This person in this position will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Associations which will include the coordination and management of the Board members, homeowners and vendors to assure that all established policies and procedures adopted by the Association are followed. She/he will review all expenses, service requests and contracts to assure that the budget submitted each year is followed.

Requirements: Qualified candidates will have minimum three years of direct Association property management experience, minimum one year of managerial experience supervising one or more subordinates. Previous experience must have included common interest communities and Fair Housing training. Also must have Minnesota Real Estate License or have the ability to obtain within six months. College degree preferred. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, superb organizational skills, ability to multi task and ability to exercise judgment while following Housing laws, guidelines and company policy. Experience with Microsoft Office required, Rent Manager property management software is a plus. A professional, positive attitude, pleasant phone skills and ability to work independently are essential.

Kingwood Management is searching for a qualified candidate for a Property Maintenance Assistance position at various communities located throughout the Twin Cities area. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, pick-up and delivery of materials to job sites, removal of trash & construction waste, snow removal, lawn care, landscaping and assist maintenance repair technicians with daily work and large jobs.

Job requirements include; basic knowledge of hand tools and basic knowledge of residential maintenance/home repairs helpful but not required. Daily activities include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, ability to work independently, work up to 8 hours on your feet outside in all weather conditions, be well organized, reliable, punctual and able to follow directions.

Must have a dependable vehicle for transportation, vehicle insurance and ability to pass a background check.
