Is this a good time to buy a home⁉️
That’s a great question my friends! I am so glad you asked. 🙏
My Answer:
✅First and most important is we need to say this a different way. And here it is: “It’s always a good time to buy a home, IF its a good time for you!” Does it fit your budget, do you have the funds needed and most importantly are you comfortable. Because if the answer is no, then don’t do it!
✅What does this mean, you ask? Well, did you know that Home Values appreciate (meaning you grow equity) on the average 3% to 5% annually. Now does that mean that every year your homes value will go up? The answer is No, but on the average it will. Statistically speaking. Which means regardless of when you buy, over time you are likely to gain equity.
✅Let me give you a quick example: If you purchased a $500K home today and we apply the average, here is what it looks like. 1 year Later $515,000, 3 years later $546,363 and 5 years later $579,638 - Hmmmm something to think about. WOW
✅In the above example you could gain nearly $80,000 for you and your future!
Next Question: Should I wait for prices and rates to come down?
✅Well, do you know what happens when rates come down?
✅More buyers enter the market place to take advantage of the lower rates.
✅Guess what happens when more buyers enter the market?
✅You guessed it - More competition and typically you pay a higher price and your competing for homes.
So you could wait, but if you did you might loose out on equity and it may be more difficult to buy.
