Jim consistently ranked among the top producers at both CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield, receiving numerous production awards as well as the “Capital Advisors Transaction of the Year” for leading the $135.7 million sale of a 2,113-unit, five property multi-family portfolio known as the Gateside Portfolio, which was the largest multi-family transaction ever completed in the Philadelphia marketplace up to that time. Although born in Philadelphia, Jim has been a southern New Jersey resident and Stone Harbor vacationer since age 3. Stone Harbor vacations are a four generation tradition in the Sheehan family and today the entire clan of over 125 family member and friends arrange their Stone Harbor vacations during the same weeks in July. Jim and his wife, Suzanne Fanelli Sheehan live in Haddonfield, NJ and have three children, Jennifer, Jimmy and Jeff. Jim is a licensed salesperson in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is a member of the Cape May County Board of Realtors. Jim has served as a guest speaker at the annual Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) conference in Philadelphia. Hugh is extremely excited to welcome Jim to the Hugh Merkle Team.
