Hey everybody! Thank you for following my new page.
These are the first steps on my journey, so I wanted to share a little background about where it started and where it’s going.
From a young age, I’ve always been interested in design and homes. I would pour through magazines and sales flyers looking for design ideas and dreaming of redecorating the entire house. I helped my mom wallpaper numerous rooms and find just the right finishing touches. Of course, at this time I didn’t know that there was a difference between decorators and interior designers, but we’ll get to that later…
While I was attending the University of Wisconsin Madison, I explored many majors but was really interested in pursuing a degree in interior design. Unfortunately, due to a lack of self-confidence and a little discouragement from my family, I decided to pursue another avenue that had creative potential, and I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, by which I aspired to work at an advertising agency. 
Fast forward many years (and several sales and marketing positions later), and I found myself selling commercial office furniture. I thought this would be a good combination of my passion for interior design and sales and marketing skills.
Alas, almost 20 years later and on the cusp of my best year ever, the global pandemic hit and working from home became the new normal. My forecast fell apart, and I needed a backup plan and I needed it fast! I signed up for a class and earned my Wisconsin real estate license. In the end, losing my job in March 2021 was both a blessing and a relief.
(PS - while I am licensed to sell real estate in Wisconsin, I haven’t committed to a brokerage yet, so I’m unable to help buy or sell a home at this time, but I have friends who can 😉)
My ultimate goal is to help renovate homes, list and sell homes for the most money possible, find clients homes to renovate, and generally help people find that place that makes them feel AT HOME 🏡
