If you’ve been watching the Norwood market, here’s your wake-up call: the median home price is sitting right around $785K — up nearly 10% from this time last year. TEN PERCENT. And homes are flying off the market in about 26 days on average. That’s not a lot of time to think it over! 👀

Over in Canton? It’s a similar story. Canton continues to ride the Norfolk County wave, where average sale prices are hovering around $710K-$735K and inventory is sitting at a tight 1.5-1.8 months. That means buyers don’t have a ton of options — and sellers are in a really strong spot right now.

What does all this mean for YOU?

Norwood MA is ON FIRE. In January 2026, the median sale price hit $689K–$700K, homes were flying off the market in just 22 days, and sellers were seeing an average of 9 offers per listing. Nine. That’s not a typo.

Canton MA is no slouch either — median prices reached $855K in January 2026, with homes scoring an 87 out of 100 on the competition scale and averaging 5 offers per home.

What does this mean if you’re a buyer? You need to be ready before you fall in love with a house. Pre-approval in hand, a clear budget, and an agent who knows these streets.
