A man called our office and said he works for the city of Hudson Ohio. He proceeded to ask questions about water wells, and permits, as well as what a clean out is. My son was the one that answered that call. After a few minutes my son could tell this was odd. He then called me and told me the story. I called Tom I won’t give Tom’s last name but I began asking him some questions. What was his purpose for calling. It turns out Hudson city council is planning on stopping all new well drilling for water. He said and I quote
Water wells are taking business away from the city! If water is nearby you must hook to it. I referred him to contact his local health district according to Ohio revised code only the health district can control water wells.
this conversation went many different directions .
but to keep it short, I ask if he notified the residence of Hudson. He said well, that’s kind of vague. Everybody has the opportunity to come to a city Council meeting or watch it online. 
so I am using this platform to try and inform as many people in the city of Hudson and there is a risk of you losing your rights to have a water well.
I recommend you contact City Hall. If you are opposed to this as well as if you are a in favor of stopping water well drilling, your voice needs to be heard. .
