Real estate isn't always about taking the easiest path—sometimes it's about finding a different one.

Every home has a story, and this one reminded me that real estate isn't always about taking the easiest path—sometimes it's about finding a different one.

There were a few unexpected bumps along the way, and what looked like a straightforward transaction quickly required some creative thinking. Instead of letting the deal fall apart, everyone stayed focused on finding a solution.

In the end, the seller was able to pass along a home she truly loved to someone who will appreciate it just as much. Even better, the buyer found a condo only five minutes from home instead of facing a 45-minute drive every day.

Those are the moments I enjoy most—when everyone works together, thinks outside the box, and reaches the closing table happy.

Apparently, walking your dog while talking about real estate counts as marketing. 😂

This buyer is actually my neighbor, and over the years he'd see me out walking Archie while I was on the phone with clients. Then he watched me list and sell another home in our neighborhood and saw just how much goes on behind the scenes.

So when it was time for him to downsize to a condo, he gave me a call.

Thankfully, everything went smoothly, and we made it to the closing table without any surprises.

After closing, he shared something that really stuck with me. When he bought his last home years ago, his agent never gave him a homeowner binder with all the important paperwork, manuals, and information about the house. He also said no one had ever invited him to meet the Mayor.

Well... around here we do things a little differently.

Every buyer I work with gets a homeowner binder because someday you'll need that warranty, paint color, or appliance manual. And since this is my hometown, I also love introducing new homeowners to Mayor Don Walters. He genuinely enjoys welcoming people to Cuyahoga Falls, and I think that's pretty special.

It's little things like that that turn a real estate transaction into a hometown experience.

Congratulations on your new condo, neighbor! Thanks for trusting me—and thanks for proving that even when I'm just walking my dog... apparently I'm still working. 🐶🏡

One of my favorite little traditions is decorating my Adopt-A-Spot garden for the seasons... and this weekend it's all about 🇮🇹 Festa Italiana in Cuyahoga Falls!
I had fun putting up the Italian flags to celebrate one of my favorite summer events. If you've never been, this weekend is a great time to head downtown for amazing food, live music, family fun, and a chance to celebrate Italian culture right here in our community. Festa Italiana runs July 17–19 along the Cuyahoga Falls Riverfront.
I love living in an area where there's always something bringing people together. ❤️
