In August, the housing market across the region remained largely steady, with a few subtle shifts from July. The median sales price dipped slightly to $520,000, while overall activity picked up, with closed sales reaching 319 transactions. Buyers faced a bit more competition for available homes as inventory tightened to 2.7 months, with the largest share between the $300K and $1M price points. Fixed mortgage rates changed little, keeping buying power relatively consistent from month to month.
