My New York clients were back in NH for electrical walkthrough day at The Cliffs at Evergreen—and this is such a fun stage to experience with them.

There’s something about standing inside the framing and deciding where life is actually going to happen. Where the lamps will go. Where you’ll plug in the coffee maker. Where the TV will live. Where you’ll flip on the lights when you walk through the door.

Tiny decisions on paper. Pretty important ones when it’s your home.

And these two make it especially fun. Their excitement is completely infectious, and every time they come up, I leave just as excited about this house as they are.

A little extra love for Jess with Chinburg, their Project Manager, who has been keeping them connected from New York with progress photos along the way. Building from a few states away isn’t always easy, but getting to watch it take shape piece by piece makes the distance feel a whole lot smaller.

The kind of place where Saturday starts with coffee and somehow turns into everyone still being outside when the sun goes down.

Where the grill gets fired up, the kids have room to roam, the fire keeps everyone outside a little longer, and movie night is just a flight of stairs away.
